The Oblong Marching Panthers received 2nd in their class and the color guard was best in their class at today's Robinson Band Competition! Way to go Marching Panthers!

The Scholastic Book Fair starts tomorrow! This fundraiser helps support the Oblong Jr. High Beta Club and OES! Open 8:30-2:45 for students at school and until 5:30 on Thursday for family night! The Oblong Marching Panthers received 4th in 1A bands and color guard received Best Overall in 1A at the Newton Fall Festival Parade! Way to go Marching Panthers!
FBLA attended the Career Day at Busch Stadium on Thursday, Sept 12th. There was a college fair with 19 area colleges/universities and a career panel discussion with professionals who work with the Cardinals. Afterwards, FBLA watched the Cardinals play the Reds. There were 2,600 students in attendance.
