Certified employee benefits:

  • Health Insurance - district pays for portion – Board Benefit $10,178.64 +additional $3,067.20 for family coverage for 2025-2026

  • District Life Insurance - the district pays the cost for $10,000

  • TRS - Teachers pay 9.0% plus 0.9% for THIS

    • District pays NEC of .58% and THIS of .67%

  • 3 Personal Leave days that can accumulate to 5 - after that, any days are added to sick leave

  • 14 sick leave days; after 15 years, employees accumulate additional leave days

  • Unused Sick Leave days are reported to TRS for credit when they retire

  • Sick leave accumulates to 340 days – When you retire, you may receive a maximum of two years (340 days) of service credit for unused, uncompensated sick leave

  • 3 Bereavement days 

Days without pay are only available after all other days have been used
