Congratulations to Abby Cheesman on being FBLA Member of the Month for December!
On December 10th, FBLA members took objective assessments that tested their knowledge in multiple business related fields. Their test scores will be calculated and awards will be given out at the Eastern Area Conference in January. As a reward for the hard work they have put into preparing for Area, members attended a showing of Elf at Eagle Theater on Tuesday.

School dismisses at 2 p.m. tomorrow!
FBLA members have worked hard outside of school time to prepare for their Eastern Area Competition that is coming up in January. Some members participated in a study night after school while others have been working on their own for the past few weeks on individual presentations ranging from computer game & simulation programming to public speaking.
Tomorrow is the last day to bring food for "Pack the Bus"!
Part of becoming a Future Business Leader of America is learning about the importance of social responsibility and community service. Oblong FBLA has been busy the past few weeks with multiple community service events. Members collected donation items for Hurricane Victims and donations items for the SWAN shelter in Olney, IL. We would like to give a big thank you to all who donated items.
FBLA also had a Walk-a-Thon to help raise money and awareness for Walk to End Alzheimer's. Our members walked a total of 57 miles and collected $689 worth of pledges during this event. Thank you to every member of the community who supported our Walk-a-Thon.
