Fifth grade is out of this world!  Fifth grade students recently wrapped up a unit on the solar system.  They had to demonstrate a mastery of the content, so they were assigned a planet and had to research facts about it.  Students then had to transfer that information to an illustration.  Abby Davis is shown with her poster that was picked as "People's Choice"! 🪐🌎💫☄️

We conducted a test for our new alert system today at 1:34 PM. The text you received is connected to your student's Skyward account and to employees. This will not be a message that goes out to community members with no students in the district. If you are a parent/guardian or staff member and did not receive a text, please let us know by calling the Grade School or High School office.

Mrs. Hardiek's class has been studying electric current, circuits, and magnetism in Science. Mr. Sanders came in and worked with the students on series and parallel circuits. The students were able to light the bulbs and troubleshoot if it did not work. They also used a small motor and shot a propeller into the air. A big thank you to Mr. Sanders for his time and talent.
