| Submitted Question: Have noticed that Course management has not been updated for the 3rd quarter. Was wondering when the new software will be going in effect and will parents being getting in the mail about it? Thanks! |
Oblong Schools Reply: The software is in place and we have been using past 2 weeks to allow teachers to get oriented with the new system. Parents/guardians will be receiving account information that will let them login to the system. These notices will go out in the mail on February 6. If you do not receive one within a couple of days after that date please feel free to call the school where the student attends.

| Submitted Question: Why is the christmas program during the day? It makes it hard for anyone who works to come and see their kids/grandkids. Why can't it be in the evening again? |

| Submitted Question: Is there a reason that the 7th and 8th grade boys basketball team has to have everything matxhing? Shoe, shirts, (which are black) I just dont understand. This makes it hard for some parents. |

| Submitted Question: if there is a change in the school lunch menus can there be a note, or new menu sent home w/our kids? the first week of november's lunch menu wasn't anything like what was sent home. i am fine with a change, but would like to know. and if it is announced, the kids (especially younger) will not remember or know to tell their parents. it would be extremely handy to know changes to the lunch menus before they happen. |

| Submitted Question: How is it decided if the kids get to play outside. there have been many mornings I thought they should be outside, and they weren't. Theses kids need fresh air and sunshine. |
| Oblong Schools Reply: The decision to go outside is made daily. No set standard exists. Temperature, wind chill, and precipitation are considered. Lower than 40 degrees with wind chill and precipitation considered is usually an inside day. The school usually receives an equal number of support for more outside and more inside days based on temperature. Everyone seems to have a different opinion around the 40 degree mark. We do our best! |
