A special meeting of the Board of Education of Oblong Community Unit School District #4 was held on February 26, 2009 in the Elementary Library. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by President Poehler with the following physically present: Meese, Harris, Bailey, Sparks, and Poehler.

Motion by Bailey and seconded by Poehler to go into closed session at 7:01 PM to discuss information regarding appointment, employment, or dismissal of an employee. Roll call vote: Meese – yea, Harris – yea, Bailey – yea, Sparks – yea, Poehler – yea. Motion carried.

Motion by Harris and seconded by Meese to return to open session at 9:17 PM. Roll call vote: Meese – yea, Harris – yea, Bailey – yea, Sparks – yea, Poehler – yea. Motion carried.

Motion by Sparks and seconded by Poehler to adjourn at 9:18 PM. Roll call vote: Meese – yea, Harris – yea, Bailey – yea, Sparks – yea, Poehler – yea. Motion carried.
