D. Adoption of Consent Agenda

Action by the Board of Education in adoption of the Consent Agenda

at this point of the agenda means that all items appearing in the

agenda which have asterisks (*) in the right hand column (which

items constitute the consent agenda) are adopted by one single

motion unless a member requests the withdrawal of any item under

the consent grouping for independent consideration contingent upon

approval by majority of a quorum of the Board. Generally consent

agenda items are matters which the Board and Superintendent consent

are routine in nature and focus on other-than-routine matters on the

regular agenda.

5. Authorize Allred's Floor Service Company to maintain and re-coat the

Grade School Gym and High School Gym Floors.

New Business

1. Update on School Library Per Capita Grant from the Secretary of State.

2. Approve FBLA's request to attend State Leadership Conference in

Decatur, IL on March 23 - March 24, 2007.

3. Approve FCCLA request to attend State Leadership Conference in

Springfield, Il on April 12-14, 2007.

4. Graduation dates: *

Junior High Graduation - Thurs., May 17, 2007 - 8:00 PM OES Gym

High School Graduation - Friday, May 18, 2007 - 8:00 PM OHS Gym

5. To go into closed session to consider information regarding appointment,

employment or dismissal of an employee, negotiations, and to engage in

discussion relating to the special education program.

6. Take action upon dismissal or non-renewal of employees.

Superintendent's Report

National FFA Week will be February 19-23, 2007. FFA Appreciation

luncheon will be Wednesday, February 21 at 11:30 AM in the Ag Shop

Oblong Chamber of Commerce Banquet will be in the Oblong Room

at OES on February 23, 2007.

Oblong Music Department's Dinner Theater will be March 9 and 10,

2007 in OES Gym.
