Action by the Board of Education in adoption of the Consent Agenda

items constitute the consent agenda) are adopted by one single

motion unless a member requests the withdrawal of any item under

the consent grouping for independent consideration contingent upon

approval by majority of a quorum of the Board. Generally consent

agenda items are matters which the Board and Superintendent consent

are routine in nature and focus on other-than-routine matters on the

regular agenda.

1. Approve Class of 2009 request to hold Prom on Saturday,

May 3, 2008 at the Oblong Elementay School Gym.



2. Approve request from Volleyball Coaches to attend a Tournament in

Springfield, IL on July 21 and 22, 2007.



3. Consider the proposal by the Oblong Music Boosters to sponsor OHS

Band and Chorus trip to Virginia Beach and Williamsburg, VA from

June 2-6, 2008.



4. Approve resolution to transfer Working Cash interest to Education Fund.



5. Appoint Jane Attaway as Treasurer and approve purchase of Treasure's

Bond.



6. Authorize Superintendent to bid milk, bread, canned goods, tires & diesel *

fuel.

7. Approve prevailing wage resolution. *



8. To go into closed session to consider information regarding appointment,

employment or dismissal of an employee and negotiations
