D. Adoption of Consent Agenda

Action by the Board of Education in adoption of the Consent Agenda

at this point of the agenda means that all items appearing in the

agenda which have asterisks (*) in the right hand column (which

items constitute the consent agenda) are adopted by one single

motion unless a member requests the withdrawal of any item under

the consent grouping for independent consideration contingent upon

approval by majority of a quorum of the Board. Generally consent

agenda items are matters which the Board and Superintendent consent

are routine in nature and focus on other-than-routine matters on the

regular agenda.

2. Authorize Bookkeeper and Superintendent to prepare 2010-2011 budget. *

3. Discuss possible Ag Plot in the Crawford Co. Forest Preserve.

4. Tentatively approve Policy 6:235

5. Approve Gym Floor bid.

6. Approve OHS Junior Class request to hold Prom for the 2010-2011 school year

at the Oblong Elementary School Gym on April 16, 2011.

7. Approve FFA request to attend the Illinois FFA Convention in Springfield, IL

June 8-10, 2010.

8. Approve FFA request to go to Turkey Run State Park on May 28, 2010.

9. Approve FBLA request to attend the FBLA Summer Leadership Workshop

in Springfield, IL on August 9-11, 2010.

10. Approve to renew contract with Crawford Memorial Hospital for Athletic

Training Services for the 2010-2011 school year.

11. To go into closed session to consider information regarding appointment,

employment or dismissal of an employee and negotiations.

12. Take action upon dismissal or non-renewal of employees.
