D.  Adoption of Consent Agenda

      Action by the Board of Education in adoption of the Consent Agenda
      at this point of the agenda means that all items appearing in the
      agenda which have asterisks (*) in the right hand column (which
      items constitute the consent agenda) are adopted by one single
      motion unless a member requests the withdrawal of any item under
      the consent grouping for independent consideration contingent upon
      approval by majority of a quorum of the Board.  Generally consent
      agenda items are matters which the Board and Superintendent consent
      are routine in nature and focus on other-than-routine matters on the
      regular agenda.

Superintendent’s Report

            National FFA Week will be February 17-23, 2008.  The FFA Appreciation
            luncheon will be Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at 11:30 AM in the Ag Shop.

            Computer Corner Workshops for Parents:
February 21- Oblong School Website: Parents will be instructed on how to use the District website.

February 28- Internet Usage: Parents will learn how to surf the web to help their child with school projects and assignments.

                        March 6 – Internet Safety and Question and Answer Session
            All workshops are from 4:00-4:30 in the OES computer lab

Oblong Music Department’s Dinner Theater will be March 14 and 15,
 2008 in OES Gym.
